Outfit: Easter Brights

I picked up this Vineyard Vines Shep Shirt at the Vineyard Vines Nashville 4th birthday party while
I was on Spring Break and I'm obsessed with it! I love it paired with white shorts and Jacks and know I'm going to get a lot of wear out of it. On Easter Sunday, I headed to Devou Park in Northern Kentucky with my family, cousin (and biggest blog fan), Michael, Nana, and new puppy, Chloe! It has an amazing view of downtown Cincinnati and we had a great time running around with Chloe and watching her go crazy with all the other dogs there :) I'm wearing the Shep Shirt in a size medium and it's perfect on me. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Any time I get to spend with my extended family is always a great one. xoxo

Spring Break Trip 2015

Long time, no see! I've been taking a hiatus from blogging trying to keep up with schoolwork, cheerleading, and other commitments, but I'm finally at a place where I can start it back up again which I'm really excited about. In the coming weeks, I have a lot of fun things to share that have been going on lately, so stay tuned for that!

Today, I'm going to be sharing my spring break trip with you all. I went on a huge college road trip with my two best friends, Maggie and Serena, and we had an absolute blast! We started off in Nashville and saw the second opening night of Kenny Chesney's Big Revival tour. His openers were Chase Rice and Jake Owen and they were amazing! I'm a huge country music fan and it was so much fun. Saturday, we explored the city and did a self tour of Vanderbilt University. It was also the 4th birthday of Vineyard Vines Nashville, and they had the cutest party and were giving out foam whale hats.

Monday // We had our official tour of Ole Miss in Oxford and then headed to Tuscaloosa. I am absolutely in love with the town of Oxford. It was seriously so adorable.

Tuesday // Unfortunately, I think I had a little bit of food poisoning from the day before so I was unable to tour the University of Alabama. Thankfully, I made a quick recovery and felt better that evening! We spent the night in Birmingham and hung out with Serena's brother who goes to school there.

Wednesday // We had our tour of Auburn University and spent the day there. We got to head to a nearby state park for some adventuring. That night, we explored the small, cute town of Auburn and got a sense of the campus scene, haha.

Thursday // This day has a pretty funny story, actually. We had to wake up at 4am to have time to travel to Atlanta for our 9:00 tour and account for the time change. However, we were not anticipating having the fire alarm go off around 4:05 due to a malfunctioning microwave... We shoved all our stuff in our suitcases and ran out of the building starting our 2 hour drive to Georgia Tech. When we arrived, we headed, in our pajamas, to a Georgia Tech campus Waffle House to enjoy our breakfast and, then, later changed for our tour of GT and Emory University. Our most exciting thing (in my opinion) was our appointment at Drybar later that day. I'm going to elaborate on that in a separate post, but it was amazing.

Friday // On our last day, we did a self tour of the University of Georgia in Athens and went to a UGA vs. Vandy baseball game that night.

All in all, it was such a great trip and really helped me narrow down my college choices. I feel really thankful that I got to experience all these wonderful schools with Maggie and Serena and Serena's family and, of course, make some hilarious memories along the way. I'm very anxious about approaching my senior year and deciding on a college. I'm not finished visiting yet, but I feel so much better about it after this trip. If you're beginning the college decision/application process like me, I feel for you! I can't wait to share some of my other adventures from the past few months on here in the coming weeks. Follow me on Instagram and Tumblr to stay in the loop with all things Class in the Bluegrass! xoxo
